June 04, 2025
The Michigan Supreme Court's Justice for All Commission has opened the FY 2026 Self-Help Center Grant Program Application. Details of the Application are HERE. The deadline to apply is July 27th.

In Michigan, Legal Self-Help Centers are places where the public can access legal information, forms, and resources with the assistance of a navigator. Self-Help Center navigators provide legal information about common legal problems, present options, and give referrals to organizations where people can get representation or assist with their legal issue.

Self-Help Centers are currently based in or operated by courts, libraries, community organizations, and educational institutions. There are currently 40 Self-Help Centers operating at 65 sites across Michigan.
